(Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over portions of Ilocos Sur due to the northeast monsoon.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are expected over Vigan City, Sta. Catalina, Caoayan and San Ildefonso.
Moderate to heavy rains, PAGASA said, are so far being experienced over Bantay, Sto. Domingo, Magsingal and San Juan.
PAGASA said these may persist for two to three hours and may affect nearby areas.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” PAGASA said.
