Rainfall advisory hoisted over N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over Northern Luzon.

In its 9:35 advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy  rains are being experienced over Pangasinan, specifically in Bolinao, Anda, Mabini, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta and Labrador; in Abra, particularly in Tineg; in  Kabugao in Apayao; and in Nueva Era and Pinili in Ilocos Norte.

The rains brought about by Tropical Storm “Falcon” and the southwest monsoon may  persist 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Light to moderate rains are being experienced in Mangaldan, San Fabian, Dagupan City in Pangasinan; Luna and Calanasan in Apayao; and in Paoay, Banna, Batac, Dingras in Ilocos Norte.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” PAGASA said.
