QUEZON City, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte wished all those planning to oust him success. This was according to Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar who shared during a press conference held in Malacañang President Duterte’s message to the groups that are planning his ouster, particularly the “Lenileaks” issue.
Andanar also challenged the Filipino-Amercian group lead by Loida Nicolas-Lewis to return to the Philippines.
Andanar, then said that he believes that the majority of Filipinos still support President Duterte.
A recent Pulse Asia Survey report said that 83 percent of Filipinos polled still approved of the President’s performance. He also enjoyed a high trust rating of 83 percent.
Meanwhile, Vice-President Leni Robredo’s trust score dipped to 58 percent from the previous 65 percent in September. Her approval rating was at 62 percent, much lower than the President’s 83 percent.
