(Eagle News)–All Philippine National Police bets are good but “I want a better deal.”
This is according to President Rodrigo Duterte in an interview with GMA7 on Monday, Dec. 3.
“Mahal ko ‘yung mga pulis ko pero hirap ako sa mga official. I mean they’re all good but I want a better deal,” Duterte said.
Duterte was referring to Police Lieutenant General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan, Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar and Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa, who were endorsed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government to Duterte for the top PNP post.
At present, Gamboa is serving as PNP officer in charge.
He was designated to the post after Oscar Albayalde resigned following allegations he intervened in the cases of 13 policemen behind an irregular raid in Mexico, Pampanga in 2013.
