President Duterte offers P1-mn bounty for each escaped Abu Sayyaf member from Inabanga, Bohol clash

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday offered a P1-million bounty for each member of the Abu Sayyaf still on the loose after a recent clash with government troops in Bohol that left at least nine dead.

Ang anim na scouring,  kung saan sila makalanding, I have a one million (peso) offer. Per person ako,” Duterte, who attended a security briefing in the province, told reporters.

“..Ang order ko is dead or alive,” he added, joking that he preferred the bandits dead so he wouldn’t have to feed them.

He said he also intended to arm civilians so they could help.

He said they would not have any problems should they end up killing a bandit.

Pag nakapatay ka na, you don’t have to worry. Just go to the police and make a report and state your truth…I’ll take care of you. I’ll pardon you, whatever,” he added.

At least nine people–including three soldiers and a policeman— were killed when government troops clashed with 10 members of the terrorist group in Inabanga on Tuesday.

At least six bandits are still on the loose.

The military said they have already distributed flyers of the man believed to be the guide of the terrorists who had reportedly gone to the province to engage in kidnapping activities.
