(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the proposed identification card system for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said that the ID card system will give OFWs easier access to government services and private agencies.
Abella also said that the exclusive card can also be used as debit card or ATM card for OFW banks.
It can also serve as a reloadable Beep card that can be used for MRT or LRT rides.
