MANILA, Philippines, August 14 (Eagle News) — After officially endorsing Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas as the presidential candidate of the Liberal Party in the 2016 elections, President Benigno S. Aquino III is now looking into the credentials of the two possible candidates for Secretary Roxas’ replacement as head of the DILG.
It is expected that Roxas will leave his post after his replacement has been chosen.
