President Aquino all set to leave Malacanang on June 30

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Benigno S. Aquino III is all set to leave his office in Malacañang on Thursday, June 30, the day of the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte, a Palace official said.

Communications Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma Jr., said that President Aquino will no longer deliver a departure speech.

Instead, Aquino will have a one-on-one meeting with President-elect Duterte before the inauguration ceremony and will be given departure honors at the Palace grounds.
