PRC: 1365 of 2790 pass electronics engineering board exams

(Eagle News) — Over 1,000 have passed the licensure exams for electronics engineers.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 1365 of the 2790 passed the exams given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi in April.

Malcolm Leeland Paraz Kwok of the Dela Salle University in Manila topped the tests with a rating of 90.7 percent.

Sharing the top two spot were Ecclesiastes Guma Montaos Jr. of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology  and Jethro Lee Pascual Ocean, also of DLSU-Manila, with a rating each of 89.4 percent.

Erick John Bulaong Reyes of the Mapua University-Manila and Juan Miguel Hudencial Villarroel of the Far Eastern University-Institute of Technology shared third place, with a rating each of 89.3 percent.

Cyrille John Entero Sili of the Asia Pacific College was in fourth place, with 89.2 percent; while Elmer Pastor Joaquin of the Adventist University of the Philippines was in fifth place with a rating of 88.7 percent.

Jomar Borbe Calauod of the FEU-Institue of Technology and Allan Lorenz Pulido Cantal of the Malayan Colleges Laguna shared sixth place, with a rating of 88.1 percent each.

Floyd Ferrant Barnedo Fortes of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology shared the seventh slot with Rex Paolo Combalicer Gamara also of the FEU Institute of Technology, with a rating of 87.7 percent.

Arvin Babao Aldover of the University of Batangas was in eighth place with a rating of 87.6 percent.

Jim Darrell Dosdos Ang also of the MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology was in ninth place, with 87.5 percent.

Charles Samuel Tirol Lasiste of the of the Cebu Institute of Technology University completed the top ten list with a rating of 86.7 percent.
