QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) –The third man in Philippine National Police chain of command, Police Deputy Director-General Benjamin Magalong retires from service in a retirement honor ceremony held at Camp Crame.
Magalong graduated as a magna cum laude in the Philippine Military Academy’s Sandigan Class of 1982.
His long service saw him heading the PNP Board of Inquiry into the Mamasapano incident.
Police Director Ramon Apolinario will replace Magalong’s position.
