PNP doctors say Napoles’ medical condition is not life-threatening

Alleged pork barrel scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles is safely back in her detention cell in Fort Santo Domingo,  Sta Rosa Laguna after undergoing a medical check-up at the Philippine National Police General Hospital this morning (February 26).

According to PNP Health Service Director Chief Supt. Alejandro Advincula Jr., her vital signs are stable and she is physically fit.

PNP physicians in Camp Crame said her illness was not life-threatening and that she did not need confinement although a mass was found inside her uterus.

Napoles had earlier asked the court that she be  placed under hospital arrest due to  a suspected ovarian tumor.

But the resident obstetrician gynecologist at the PNP general hospital said they did not find any cyst in Napoles’ ovaries.  Only a mass was found inside her uterus.
