(Eagle News) — Seventeen-year-old Kian delos Santos died of two gunshot wounds in the head.

This was according to the results of the autopsy performed by the Philippine National Police Crime Lab on the Grade 11 student, who was killed in a supposed anti-drug operation in Caloocan days ago.

The results contradict the findings of the Public Attorneys Office, which said that the boy had died of three gunshots–two in the head and one in the body.

According to Dr. Jane Monzon, PNP Crime Lab medico-legal officer, one of the two bullets entered the boy’s ear, while the other at the back of the ear.

She said there was no gunshot wound in the boy’s body.

“Left pareho ang entry, parehong lumabas sa right (ang bala),” she said.

She added that both bullets had also been shot downward, which could mean that the boy was  over 60 centimeters away from the tip of the barrel when he was shot.

The boy was killed in what the Caloocan Police said was an anti-drug operation in Barangay 160.

But Zaldy delos Santos, the boy’s father, disputed the police account, noting that barangay closed-circuit television camera footage  showed the boy was being “carried” by the police, and could not have fired any gun.

The PNP-Internal Affairs Service is set to recommend the filing of administrative charges against the policemen involved in the operation.

So far, three have been relieved.

Also relieved were their police community precinct commander, the Caloocan police chief, and the Northern Police District director.
