(Eagle News)–Peter Joemel Advincula has been discharged from the hospital, several days after he was confined there last week after complaining of chest pains.
The Philippine National Police said Advincula, who claims to be “Bikoy,” the yellow-hooded figure in the Ang Totoong Narco-list videos against President Rodrigo Duterte’s family, was discharged from the PNP General Hospital after his medical results came out normal.
In the video, “Bikoy” accused Duterte’s family of being engaged in the illegal drugs trade.
Advincula surfaced and stood firm on the allegations in the video, but later retracted his statements, saying he was only forced to peddle the lies by members of the opposition led by, among others, Vice President Leni Robredo.
Robredo and the others, who have denied the allegations, now face sedition and other charges based on Advincula’s statement.
