Pimentel: Sixteen of 50 barangays in Dapitan City have broken voting machines, SD cards

(Eagle News)—-Sixteen barangays out of the 50 in Dapitan City have broken voting machines and SD cards, Senator Koko Pimentel said on Monday, May 13.

According to Pimentel,  reports of the same came from the following barangays:

1. Larayan
2. Napo
3. Potol
4. Talisay – 3 vcms
5. Potungan – 2 vcms
6. Taguilon
7. Masidlakon
8. Sigayan
9. San vicente
10. San pedro
11. Tag ulo
12. Oro
13. Dawo
14. Antipolo
15. Sto Niño
16. Aliguay

He said all complaints have been “properly recorded and filed with the (Board of Election Inspectors) and (Election Officers).”

The voting of some political personalities in Metro Manila has also been delayed due to malfunctioning vote-counting machines.

Senator Grace Poe had to return to her precinct in San Juan later in the day to cast her vote after the VCM there rejected her ballot several times.

Former Vice President Jejomar Binay for his part personally went to the Commission on Elections to personally complain that his ballot had been rejected at least eight times.
