(Eagle News)–Former Senate President Nene Pimentel is “very ill,” his family said on Monday, Oct. 14.
In a statement, the family of Pimentel said he was “currently under treatment.”
They did not say, however, what his sickness was.
“Doctors and hospital staff are doing their best to help him,” the Pimentel family said.
“We ardently ask that you join us in prayer for his full and complete recovery,” they added.
Pimentel served as Senate President from 2000 to 2001.
He is the father of Senator Koko Pimentel.
