It was a great run for the Pilipinas 3×3 team in the 2016 FIBA 3×3 u18 Asian championships held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last (July 22-24)
The Pilipinas 3×3 u18 men’s team was composed of Kyle Christian tan, John Lloyd Clemente, Rhayyan Amsali, John Martin Galinato took silver medal.
12 mens and womens team competed in a tournament organized by FIBA, the Malaysian Basketball Association (MABA) and the NBL ASIA. The first edition of the FIBA 3×3 u18 Asian championships was held in Bangkok Thailand in May 2013 where the Philippines took the crown.
