(Eagle News)–The Philippines’ men’s and women’s 3×3 basketball teams added more golds to the country’s medal tally after defeating their opponents in the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Monday, Dec. 2.
The men’s basketball team routed Indonesia, which settled for a silver finish in the games held at the FilOil V Arena in San Juan.
The final score was 21-9.
The women’s basketball team, on the other hand, defeated Thailand, which put up a fight but ended with 13 points, vis à vis the Philippines’ 17.
Vietnam and Malaysia secured the bronze in the men’s and women’s events, respectively.
