PHL logs 716 more COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — The Philippines logged over 700 more COVID-19 cases on Thursday, June 23.

According to the Department of Health, the 716 new cases pushed the total COVID-19 cases in the country to 3698509.

Metro Manila logged the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, with 3002.

It was followed by Calabarzon with 989, Western Visayas with 510, Central Luzon with 432, and Central Visayas with 248.

Of the cities and provinces, Quezon City registered the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days with 680, followed by Manila with 392, Makati with 372, Cavite with 347, and Pasig with 284.

COVID-19 recoveries are at 3632491.

The COVID-19 death toll has reached 60495.

Metro Manila is under a COVID-19 alert level 1 until June 30.
