INC rally before DOJ might last until Monday

MANILA, Philippines, August 28, 1:55 PM (Eagle News) — Men and women, young and old, people from all walks of life are tirelessly conducting a peaceful assembly outside the office of Department of Justice (DOJ) along Padre Faura Street in Ermita, Manila.  Aside from the INC members, civil groups and individuals also joined the rally to question the DOJ’s alleged selective application of justice.

The assemblers formed an organized line to show the contents of their placards. More INC members are expected to arrive within the vicinity as the hours pass.

Those who attended the INC rally said that they might stay on until the weekend, or even until Monday, August 31, which is National Heroes’ Day.  This will coincide with the sixth death anniversary of the late Executive Minister Brother Eraño G. Manalo.

Orderliness is maintained through the efforts of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Society of Communicators and Networkers (SCAN) International. (Eagle News Service)
