Partly cloudy skies to prevail in parts of Northern Luzon

(Eagle News)–Partly cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country on Friday, March 22, as the ridge of a high pressure area affects northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said these were expected over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Apayao, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya.

PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers would prevail over Aurora province caused by localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the East to Southeast will also prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province.

Coastal waters, on the other hand, PAGASA said, will be slight to moderate.
