Palace welcomes Duterte’s high trust, approval ratings

(Eagle News)—The Palace on Friday, Jan. 11, welcomed the Pulse Asia survey results that showed President Rodrigo Duterte’s trust and approval ratings increase in December.

In a statement, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said the survey results were a “testament to how this administration is attuned to the needs of the greater majority.”

According to Andanar, the government “will continue to focus on the goal of giving a comfortable life for all, rid (the country) of hard drugs, criminality and corruption.”

In the December Pulse Asia survey results, President Duterte’s approval rating increased to 81 percent from 75 percent in September.

His trust rating also went up, from 72 percent in September to 75 percent.

Pulse Asia said Senate President Tito Sotto and Vice President Leni Robredo also enjoyed high majority trust and approval ratings.
