QUEZON City, Philippines – Malacañang is not worried about reports that the U.S. State Department will put a stop with its arms deal with the Philippines as recommended by US Senator Ben Cardin.

Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said that the Palace through the leadership of the Philippine National Police, will look into the matter and confirm if the US will indeed not push through with its sale of 26, 0000 M-16 Armalite rifle.
