(Eagle News)–The Palace on Sunday, July 28, condoled with the kin of those killed in the Batanes earthquakes on Saturday, July 27.
“We send our sincerest prayers for the fast and speedy recovery of those who were injured,” the Palace added in a brief statement.
At least eight people were killed and at least 60 were hurt after the series of earthquakes in the province.
The highest magnitude of the earthquakes was 5.9.
President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to visit the province on Sunday, July 28.
