(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, May 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:13 a.m. The epicenter was 331 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 34 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
