(Eagle News)–More than P100,000 worth of property–or P150,000–was damaged after a fire razed a residential area in Caloocan early Tuesday, Feb. 5. The blaze in Barangay 8 broke out at 1:24 a.m., destroying at least 20 houses and leaving at least 40 families homeless, the Bureau of Fire Protection said. The blaze reached the second alarm before it was put out.
(Eagle News)–A fire hit a pastries factory in Meycauayan, Bulacan early Tuesday, Feb. 5. The blaze began in the factory in Barangay Libtong past midnight. As of 4 a.m., the blaze reached the fifth alarm. No one was reported injured so far.
