The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake took place at 9:17 a.m. Its epicenter was located 22 kilometers northeast of Rapu Rapu. It had a depth of focus of 23 kilometers. The following intensities were recorded: Intensity III – Legazpi City Intensity II – Bulusan, Sorsogon No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
