(Eagle News)–An alert level 3 remains hoisted over Taal as it continued to spew white steam-laden plumes 500 meters tall. Duterte declares national day of remembrance for road crash victims, survivors, kin

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a measure declaring every third Sunday of November as national day of remembrance for road crash victims, survivors and their families. The President, who had lamented deaths caused by speeding motorists in public speeches,  signed Republic Act 11468  on Jan. 23. Court convicts alleged recruiters of Veloso in another case

(Eagle News)–A Nueva Ecija court has convicted the alleged traffickers of Mary Jane Veloso of large-scale illegal recruitment in a separate case. Judge Anarica Castillo-Reyes sentenced Maria Cristina Sergio and Julius Lacanilao to life imprisonment in the case filed by  Lorna Valino, Ana Marie Gonzales, and Jenalyn Paraiso. (Eagle News) – The Department of Health is now awaiting the results of the confirmatory tests on a Chinese national confined at the San Lazaro Hospital, considered a patient under investigation (PUI) for novel coronavirus infection, who died on Thursday, Jan. 29, for pneumonia.
