(Eagle News) — Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Camilo Cascolan has ordered a crackdown on police personnel using vehicles impounded as evidence. Cascolan ordered a nationwide inspection and inventory of all motor vehicles, and instructed PNP unit commanders to conduct surprise camp inspections. (Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, Sept. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:41 a.m., had its epicenter 423 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 79 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Wednesday, Sept. 16: MIAA said flight schedules may be subject to changes. Passengers are allowed to take domestic flights but subject to the requirements of the local government unit covering the area of destination.
