DepEd: Over 24 million learners enrolled so far for SY 2020 to 2021

According to DepEd, the 24,567,456  enrollees from kindergarten to Grade 12, including ALS and non-graded learners with disabilities, were as of Sept. 23. 5.0-magnitude aftershock hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Thursday, Sept. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 10:25 a.m., was an aftershock of the 5.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Bayabas on Sept. 21. PHIVOLCS said the 5.0-magnitude quake had its epicenter 91 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. It had a depth of 46 kilometers. No damage to property was reported but aftershocks were.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:32 a.m., had its epicenter 40 kilometers northeast of Burgos. It had a depth of 19 kilometers.
