DFA reports three more COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos

4.2-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:40 a.m., had its epicenter 67 kilometers southeast of General Luna. It had a depth of one kilometer and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks.

MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Wednesday, Oct. 7

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Wednesday, Oct. 7: Flight schedules are subject to changes. Domestic flights are allowed but subject to the requirements imposed by the local government unit covering the area of destination. The Philippine National Police has also suspended the issuance of travel authority for those going to Negros Occidental until Oct. 9. Restrictions on international travel remain.
