PAGASA: Southwest monsoon still affecting the PHL

(Eagle News)– The southwest monsoon is affecting the Philippines.

As a result, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Zambales, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA said, will have moderate to strong winds and coastal waters.

Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
