PAGASA monitors LPA off Davao

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area east of Davao.

PAGASA said the LPA is located  460 kilometers east of the city.

It said the easterlies are also affecting the eastern section of Luzon, while the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms  due to the LPA, while  Batanes will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
