(Eagle News)—-The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

In an advisory on Tuesday, July 31, PAGASA said the LPA was spotted in the eastern section.

A southwest monsoon will continue to affect the western section of Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA said.

It said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain today, while overcast skies were expected in Visayas and Mindanao.
