PAGASA monitoring LPA off Legazpi City

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area off Legazpi.

PAGASA said as of 3 p.m., the LPA was estimated 1,025 kilometers east of the city.

As it is, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides due to occasional heavy rains are possible, PAGASA said.

The northern and eastern sections of the country will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
