PAGASA: Frontal system affecting N. Luzon on Wednesday, May 8

(Eagle News)–A frontal system is affecting Northern Luzon on Wednesday, May 8.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 4 p.m. advisory that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as a result.

It said  flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

According to the weather bureau, extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate winds and coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate ones.
