Overall crime rate in the Philippines goes down

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that the overall crime rate in the country went down during the first five months of the Duterte administration while admitting that the murder rate went up in the same period.

The PNP also said that compared to the 81, 000 criminal cases recorded last year, this year only recorded 55, 000. But the murder rate went up by 51% compared to the 2015 record.
