(Eagle News) – The Ospital ng Sampaloc reopened its doors on Monday, April 20, following a temporary closure earlier this month after some hospital staff tested positive for COVID-19.

Sa aming muling pagbubukas sa publiko, ang Ospital ng Sampaloc ay itinalaga ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila bilang paanakan at para sa mga konsultasyon ng mga sanggol at bata (As we reopen our doors to the public, the Ospital ng Sampaloc has been appointed by the City Government of Manila as  a maternity, infant, and children’s hospital)”, the hospital said in a statement.

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso ordered the closure of the hospital on April 4 after five hospital staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The closure was meant to give the affected hospital workers time to recover, and to allow for a thorough disinfection of the hospital.
