(Eagle News)–On-site classes in some areas on Friday, April 5, have been suspended, with the peak heat index expected to enter the “danger category” in parts of the country.
The suspension covers the following so far:
Angeles City – all levels (both public and private)
Bataan – preschool to senior high school (both public and private)
Bulacan – public and private schools
General Santos City – all levels (both public and private)
Iloilo City – public schools; suspension of on-site classes in private schools at the discretion of heads
Pasay City – all levels (both public and private)
Sarangani – all levels (both public and private)
Sultan Kudarat – public and private schools
Talisay, Cebu: public schools; suspension of on-site classes in private schools at the discretion of heads
