(Eagle News) — An Overseas Filipino Worker died after she allegedly fell from a building in the United Arab Emirates last week, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
Based on a report from Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, the Filipina, who was not identified, was believed to have fallen from the third floor of a building in Ajman on Nov. 23.
She was declared dead on arrival at the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital.
According to Cortes, the Consulate General is in touch with the relatives of the deceased OFW.
The authorities are also coordinating with Ajman authorities in the investigation of her death and in the repatriation of the OFW’s remains, Cortes told the DFA.
