Northeast monsoon affects extreme N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–Clouds and isolated rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, Jan. 29, as the northeast monsoon affects extreme Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have  partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds from the north to northeast will prevail over Palawan and Occidental Mindoro, which will have moderate to rough seas.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over Visayas, which will have slight to moderate seas.
