High wind warning is given to all coastal counties (all boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties) all throughout Monday until early morning on Tuesday.

Just as what was forecasted, the tri-state area was hit hard with rain and strong winds, causing flooding in some areas. Prompting New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to advise people to not do any unnecessary traveling during the storm.

Atlantic City and Sea Isle City in New Jersey faced flooding, downed power lines and high surf late on Monday and early Tuesday. The storm was at its worst between 7 p.m. on Monday night until 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. Wednesday will bring sunshine and weather reaching 50 degrees.
