QUEZON City, Philippines – The National Capital Region Police Office started assigning 240 police marshals in public utility buses in order to protect the passengers from hold-up situations as well as snatchers and pick-pockets. Said police marshals will board buses to check on the situation of passengers. Said measure will be implemented in EDSA and other major roads in the National Capital Region.
