QUEZON City, Philippines – The National Capital Region once again claimed championship in the 59th Palarong Pambansa held at Albay Sports and Tourism Complex in Legaspi. NCR won 209 medals. This is the twelfth time that the NCR gained the championship in the said sports event. The Palarong Pambansa is an annual multi-sport event for student-athletes from 13 regions organized by the Department of Education.
