(Eagle News)–The National Bureau of Investigation has arrested the person allegedly behind the videos that linked President Rodrigo Duterte’s family to illegal drug activities.

Authorities did not identify the suspect, but said his arrest took place on Tuesday, April 30.

The suspect allegedly uploaded the videos featuring a man who identified himself as “Bikoy,” and who hurled the allegations against members of the presidential family.

“Bikoy” accused presidential son Paolo Duterte of receiving kickbacks from the illegal drug trade through bank accounts named after the brother of Duterte’s son-in-law Mans Carpio, Waldo Carpio.

The man also accused Duterte’s teenage daughter Veronica and the President’s partner Honeylet Avanceña of being involved in illegal drug activities.

They have all denied the allegations. Moira Encina
