NAPOLCOM kickstarts National Crime Prevention Week

(Eagle News)– The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) on Thursday led the commencement ceremony for the 22nd National Crime Prevention Week at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.

With a theme of “Hawak Kamay Tungo sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran”, the event aims to form a partnership between the government and the public through community and service-oriented enforcement system.

Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary (DILG) and NAPOLCOM Chairman Ismael Sueno, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista were all present during the ceremony.
This year’s event will include the commemoration of the 2016 Model PNP Families, which will be held on September 8.
