MRT train suffers “electrical failure”; Passengers unloaded at Ortigas station

(Eagle News) — At least 800 passengers were unloaded on Tuesday morning after a train suffered another technical problem.

The Metro Rail Transit 3 management said a southbound train experienced the electrical failure at 8:21 a.m.

The management said the failure was due to “worn-out electrical sub-components.”

The affected passengers who were offloaded at Ortigas Station took the next train.
