(Eagle News)–Monsoon rains are expected in parts of the country as the southwest monsoon affects the western section of Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Pangasinan, Bataan and Zambales may also have flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, La Union, Benguet, Cavite, Batangas and the rest of Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters while Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate rains and slight to moderate coastal waters.
