MMDA: No number-coding scheme on Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and 4

(Eagle News)–There will be no number-coding scheme on Thursday, Oct. 31, and  Monday, November 4.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said this was apart from the automatic suspension of the number-coding scheme on Nov. 1, a special nonworking holiday.

The agency said the MMDA move was in view of the anticipated increase in the volume of passengers and motorists hoping to get to the provinces.

“Magpapatupad ng no-day off, no absent policy sa ating mga traffic enforcers sa Oktubre 31, Nobyembre 1, at Nobyembre 4,” MMDA chair Danilo Lim said.

According to the MMDA, more than 2300 MMDA personnel will be deployed from  Oct. 30 to Nov. 4 to assist the public.
