(Eagle News) — The lifeless body of a 17-year-old boy from Baguio who had been missing for six days was found in a creek on Thursday morning.

The body of  Vaughn Carl Dicang, a Grade 12 Baguio Science High School student,  was recovered near Balacbac Bridge, at 9:40 a.m., the police said.

When the teenager went missing on September 1, he was wearing dark pants, a grey jacket, and carried a red backpack.

Van Dicang, Middle Quirino Hill barangay chairman, said initially, it appeared the motive behind the killing of his brother was robbery, as his cellphone was missing.

Senior Supt. Ramil Saculles said an autopsy would be conducted on the teenager’s body.

Dicang’s death comes after the killings of three other teenagers–17-year-old Kian Loyd delos Santos, 19-year-old Carl Angelo Arnaiz, and 14-year-old Reynaldo de Guzman.

The killings of Delos Santos, Arnais and De Guzman, however, are being attributed to erring police.
