Millions of INC members across the globe witness centennial closing worship service, express solidarity with INC leader

(Eagle News) — Tens of thousands of people gathered at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. in the United States to rejoice and celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo,  showcasing the church’s discipline and influence of the church as it spreads its faith

This was in addition to the hundreds of thousands to almost two million who came to the Ciudad de Victoria in Bocaue, Bulacan  to witness the closing centennial celebration of the Church in the Philippines.

At the Verizon Center in the US, the closing centennial celebration was attended by their brethren and their guests from across Canada, Europe and USA. It was an event designed to marvel at the Church’s phenomenal success across the globe.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo worldwide have witnessed and took part in the special worship service held in the Philippine Arena and the Verizon Center in Washington DC.

Millions of INC members in more than 100 countries were able to watch the special worship service officiated by INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo on Sunday, July 26, as the worship service was seen live via video streaming in more than 1,700 sites across the globe.

They also expressed solidarity with the INC leader and vowed to keep the faith.

In his preaching of the gospel, he emphasized that the triumphant success and the phenomenal growth of the Church are all divine proof of God’s handiwork in these last days.

July 27, marked the Iglesia Ni Cristo 101st Church anniversary.

Outside the Philippines for instance, brethren and bible guests from the ecclesiastical district of Eastern Canada journeyed to its neighboring country of USA to join the centennial closing ceremony in Washington DC.

Young brethren who participated by attending in this glorious celebration highly  regarded it as a once in a lifetime, and unforgettable beautiful experience.

For the older brethren who are the living witnesses of the Church’s humble beginnings in the far east to its strings of victories to the far west, highly acknowledged its growth and success as God’s great handiwork.

“It is indeed fortunate for the faithful to witness this grand and divine event.  This Church event is beyond any human understanding.  Truly, the existence of the Church of Christ around the globe is phenomenal,” said Crystal Penano who reported from the district of Eastern Canada.
